HAND WIPES -
Convenient to use on the go. Individually packaged in foil pack. Contains alcohol and Benzalkkonium Chloride. BZK is a known bacteria killer. It is an organic alcohol free antimicrobial compound. BZK is safe for the skin, but tough on germs. While alcohol sanitizers utilize 62% or higher alcohol by weight, BZK only uses .1 to .13% of BZK Chloride by weight and provides equivalent microbial protection. While alcohol does kill germs, it has no persistency, once it dries (in seconds). It becomes less effective. Alcohol based product do not penetrate dirt. BZK based products are the pragmatic choice when no soap and water is readily available. Finally, BZK wipes tend not to dry the skin and they are effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa.
